Reccomendations on a good budget friendly helicopter to learn with? Asking for a friend... Thanks. 😎
When it comes to helicopters, training on a flight simulator is absolutely the best way to go. With helicopters, a simple crash typically means down time for repair. There are trainor copters for a reason, and even with these, damage from crashes are highly likely.

I could sell you mine. All brand new lots money in it. I flew it for maybe 10 min. Helis scare me lol
@Xraycer is right, think my next purchase needs to be Realflight. But, what do you have, I may be interested soon.

I'm with ya there man. I get scared just watching other people fly them. They are usually standing close to them, and the visions of long heli blades going through someones skull start going through my head. The force of one of those blades if it flew off would be ridiculous. Definitely a dangerous toy that I have no desire to play with.

I’ll sell you mine
I would crash within 10 seconds of liftoff. Does that Real Flight sim do helicopters well? I need to grab that one of these days. I got my Taranis X9D hooked up to my PC at all times for Drone Racing League and love it. So I assume I just need the software?

I would crash in about 5 seconds. At least that's how long I typically last the few times I had attempted it on RF 😂

The hardest thing to fly on Realflight is the AV8 Harrier. Has a bit of a learning curve to it. I think I've crashed at least 100 grand worth of rc's in the simulator. I really should get a newer version of the software.
