i want a new engine for my thunder tiger st1. I'm thinking about getting a picco 21, would that be a good engine

Picco are very good engines, but the top engines right now are Novarossi, Dynamite Platinum, and Team Orion. I also would suggest getting the XTM 24.7 if you can find one thats not on backorder.

thanks. i currently got a picco .26 p3 in my truggy but can't gat a part for it lol. if i go down to a 21 will i have to changer the gear ratio to get enough torque/power to move my truggy and get speed for the engine

no, every engine I just listed, especially the 24.7 have just as much power as a .26. Plus better fuel consumption = longer run time :) Most people run .21 in their truggy over a .26, or .28 anyway

well I'm thinkin its the picco 21 il get lol enless i can get the part for my picco 26:hehe:

So far I found the part # for it but thats as far as I got so far. You may want to keep the part # and call OFNA about it. the part # is 51450

only available in the UK from the looks of it, plus every single one is out of stock. The one I listed is for a Picco .26 Outlaw engine which has a design based off of the P3 .26. It should fit, but I'm not guaranteeing anything. If you do chose to order it, you may want to call the place and see if it is returnable if the part does not fit. Otherwise, get a new engine. What kind of truggy do you have, I'm just curious.

thunder tiger st1. i swapped to hyper7s for it lol

lol i no its out of stock ............. I've been waiting for 6 months for the one i orderd :hehe:so I'm looking every were for the part

no more than 100 pounds. i orderd the part through my local rc shop. they orderd it with CML

100 pound is about $180 lol I'm from the uk if u didnt guess. they said its on back order

o icic that might explain why I didnt know that haha. If its on backorder then it can take who knows how long. You would be better off just getting a new engine. Beings your in the UK, I suggest either Picco, or XTM. I'm not sure if your able to easily get novarossi or dynamite, but the other 2 I know you can get.

Yeah thats what I would do if I were you, forget waiting for who knows how long, it could even take years, back ordering sucks haha.
