picco, $20 mount and works with stock everything.

i have heard the Picco and the new O.S. 21 are rough on the tranny. I'll probably buy the O.S. 21 for my next mill though. I am sure you can adjust the slipper to handle the torque from these engines, but I have yet to try it for myself. the picco is 200 plus the engine mount. The best deal is the RB .23, it comes with everything. Engine mount and pipe, but it is 270.
I am still loving and amazed with the 3.3. I have seen a lot of 3.3s that are horrible, but mine is animal with 30% fuel and a THS pipe. It runs with and outruns most big block trucks on the track. i have yet to say I need more power. All it takes is a small bump in the track and she will pick the front wheels up in second.

Revo .26 Picco

pretty nice if you ask me

Maybe the CV-R(X) but no other really. The TM's are no longer made and they were the go to engines. Unless you know how really to tune a engine really good though don't get a picco. really not for any noobs. Very strong engine but is a pain in the ass to tune. I'd maybe look into the HPI engines. they are plenty strong and you would have to get a motor mount but thats all. just my $.02

I got a picco .26 and i don't spend hours tuning it , if you know how to tune you should be fine , it runs like crazy . I say go for it . Its a really sweet engine in my opinion.

Hours tuning? Dude my Picco is set it and forget it (for the day anyways). Runs like a beast too. If you're going to judge something you need to have experienced it first.

Nope, all the stock stuff just bolts right on, with the exception of the new mount. Only thing you may need is a new pipe hanger because the mount scoots the engine back a little bit.

ok well i should have added something to my post then tuning a picco is not an easy job if you dont have a lot of experiance tuning

so i just order my picco .26 with engine mount..so pretty much everything i need then ? no need for a new header the stock will bolt on just fine correct?

also what do you think a good pipe for this .26 picco engine?

my friend is selling me dual pipe from TSAIS will that be good combo with this engine?

thnaks:second_place:

IMO the Resonator goes good with the Picco. All the stock stuff will bolt on. You don't even need new screws for the engine mount.

what fuel should i use for this and plugs? I'm pretty much a basher no tracks were i live and i run it at by beach most of the time so just at sea level ..

also i tot i was going to order the mount for the picco as well but they are out stock ...dose anyboby know who has them instock so that i can buy it together..i check horizon/tower/a main.. i dont know what other place to get it..

Picco .26 Maxx. Thats what I have, and I dont have any problems tuning. You will have to adjust the needles very minimal with any mill when you start it day to day, to adjust for the weather, but once its set its good! If I had to pic a second choice, go with the OS .21 tm, but mind you its pretty spendy.
