I was wondering what anyone thinks about the OFNA force.26 engine. Is it a good motor for reliability and power or is it not that good

It's a good reliable engine, but no powerhouse. pretty good beginner engine, good for a low end buggy for bashing and pretty easy to tune and learn on. Heavy MT's kind of showcase it's lack of power.

Is it much better than the original .25 in the savages

If your looking for a good savage engine, the XTM 24.7 would suit you. I haven't bought one yet, but I've read thread after thread about people that have it and like it. I've also downloaded a few movies of savages with it in... wheelies all the time and fast. It's supposed to be a pretty reliable easy to tune engine.

You can find them at hobbypeople.net

I just finished breaking in my fantom .27. it seems to have twice the power of a 25 and this was with the factory needle seetings. flips my savage over with the 18 tooth clutch bell and the 49 tooth spur. a buddy put one in his buggy and was suprised at how much it livened it up compared to the sportworks 26 he had in it.
