I found a savage on craigslist.org 75$ is this a good deal

You need to meet him to take a look at it. What you see was probably taken when it was brand new. Look at it, and have him start it and run it. If it doesn't run, look it over really good. See if it's still worth it as a parts truck.

That's probably because it was a good deal. Doesn't take much to get $75 for a Savage.
