Good Buggys?

Hi everyone. I was thinking about either getting a 1/8 touring car or a 1/8 buggy, but since I already have a 1/10 touring car, I guess I'll go with a buggy. What is a good, low price buggy? I was thinking about the Kyosho Inferno or the Mugen MBX5T. Any suggestions?

The MBX5T is a truggy or buggy based truggy. The buggy from Mugen is the MBX5R. This is a not a low priced buggy. If you are looking at a ow priced one, do some research as you don't want to go too cheap and end up spending more than a competitive kit.

Oh, what's the difference between a buggy and a truggy? When I looked at the picture, it looked like a buggy to me. Anyways, I wouldn't go for the Mugen because, yeah, the price. My LHS sells the Inferno, I might get that. I'll go search some buggys.

For a cheap truggy or buggy you could always find nice race rollers on eBay or assorted rc forums. Of course with a roller thought you will need electrics and/or an engine.

Yeah I'm a visual learner so pics help me alot. Check for brands like Ofna, Jammin', Mugen, Kyosho, Losi, and X-Ray. Ofna and Jammin' are generally alittle cheaper but you can still find good deals on the others. Most racers use them for a season or two and then they go up for sale.
