what be the higest gearing i could safely run in my .26 maxx for all out speed (it only runs on the street with street tires) without hurting my engine

I'd say a good gearing for all out top speed would probably be maybe a 66t spur with a 24t clutch bell.
But really, the gearing depends on the characteristics of your engine, and where it makes power at what RPM.

You may want to check out Fioroni. They are making a 54 tooth spur gear that fits the RRP small (e maxx) double slipper plate. It will allow you to run the 12-18 tooth clutch bells.

i run a 23t clutch bell and a 65t spur gear in my supermaxx and it runs good, fast, and has good speed of the line.

any idea if anyy of this gearing cuold possibly beat a schumacher in a drag race  or at least have a faster o-60 time. i need to beat it :whack:

All depends on your setup. What other things you have going on you know? There's A LOT more to speed than an engine and gears. TIRES TIRES TIRES!!, Lighter weight tranny gears, A lot of aluminum is heavy = slower. Clutch, FOC, Air filter, CVD's VS stock sliders, most importantly, DRIVER SKILL, the way you have your engine tuned, etc etc etc......

yes gilbequick said it, it doesn't matter if u have the best truck there is on the track. some guy that has a shitting stock truck might come along and know how to drive and smoke u. it is alot of driving skill that u need.
