Looking for a recommendation for for a good 21or 28 nitro nitro engine for my 1/8 scale buggy
OS and SH make good nitro engines still.

What kind of buggy?
Racing or bashing?
Budget dictates a lot.

I am also an old guy. I haven't run nitro in a while. I'm interested to see what you end up buying.

There are many, Red's just came out with a 321 and one of the guys at the track had one there on Saturday, he said he really liked it. I run an OS AD3 but still learning how to tune it!...

If you plan to race it, .21 is ROAR Maximum for Buggies (up to .28 for Truggies). Truggies also allow for a larger fuel tank (150cc Max.) for those larger engines, so running .28 in your buggy is going to reduce run times (125cc Max tank).

Please keep us posted.

I have an older exceed mad fire car and and I'm thinking of getting a SH .28. I just race it in my backyard.

I have seen SH mentioned a few times just recently in threads. Ppl do like them and the price is pretty nice too.

I bet it will be a monster!!!:thumbs-up:

The only .28s that Amain currently lists are all SH, as it seems that OS discontinued the much-loved .28XZ, though I did see one on Ebay (open box LN).
