I am looking to up grade the gears on my savage x 4.6. I currently run 52t spur and 17t cb. I like the torque and mid to low range punch that get from that combo. The idea of getting and Golden Horizon and having a 16t, 17t, 18t cb is nice. I want to make sure though that the quality is up to par with the Robinson.
Does any one have an input on this? What gear ratio are you running and what is the performance?
Thanks
Joe

I have the exact same clutch bell for my savage. It is the GH and I like the 16, 17 & 18 too. I have never had a problem with it. I am running a 49t metal spur gear and the 16t, lots of tourque. You won't go wrong getting it.

I run the 52t and it rips like crazy and easy wheelies. How does the 49t compare to something like the 52. Will I have the same performance? Have you tried the other cb's??
Thanks

The lower tooth spur gear that you use, the more low end you will have. The higher the spur gear and clutch bell the more speed. I think I got that right.

I understand the ratio's. I was looking more for some user experience.
Thanks anyway
