Run, fast! The hellpile is less than competitive and very unreliable. I've seen a few guys working on them but rarely see them make it through a heat or finish well. Yes driver has a lot to do with it but I do get around and have seen this more times than not. What kind of budget do you have put together? Do you need a RTR or will kit suffice? Answer those and I'll be glad to make a few recommendations based on that and my experience.

not to sound cocky but money is not a problem if u were goin to build a racer what would you build

Ya I would say the best truggy out is the mugen but for a ready to run I would look at the crt rtr can't beat it for the price...alot of people like the st us kayosha but I had diff problems with the pro kit and the guys up at the track I run all offed there hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I already have a ST-R with a ninja. So.....I would build a Mugen MBX5T Prospec with the upcoming modified Ninja with magnesium head.

Hands down Mugen MBX5T with just about any high end .21. I run a V-spec for club and an EB Mods V-Spec for bigger events. I have a RB Mods Ninja on my 5R and I may throw it on the 5T just to see how it is. The truck handles great (on-power steering), responds well to small changes, and is soooooo forgiving. Race buddies are running a variety of motors on them but here goes: 2 guys running JP Modded V-Specs, 1 CEO Power Mods OS .21VG, 1 RB Mods 821, 1 P5X, 1 Radical 621, 1 Hott Mods 21-5.

Mugen, that seems to be the choice for the moment. Keep an eye on the Losi truggy, if they have found answers to the initial problems and it drives like the buggy, it will be smooth.
