Has anyone hear about this GO RACING ENGINE. I found this engine on a website and really looks neat. I am planning to buy the following engine: -

Go Engine / Pipe Pack
21R/PRO/Rear Exhaust CNC Golden Head Turbo Racing Engine 7PT+2

Contents : 3.45cc
Maximum Power : 2.7hp
R.P.M : 40.000 rpm

Could anyone give me suggestion on this engine. As I want to install this on my HONGNOR/JAMMIN X2CR Pro Kit buggy.

Thanks !!!!!!

For the price you'll pay, buy a brand with a good rep like Nova or Picco, also the new Werks B5 .21 is awesome.
Truggies need torque, 7 port engines tend to be more upper rpm engines. Not always though.
Check out their .24 or .25 I think, Go makes one.
Also their 5 port .21's would be better for your Jammin.
I have heard a lot of posjitive feedback on their customer service. I have seen a couple run, they are good but not any better than the rest of the market.
The Ex-Tech .24 is the best truggy engine I have ever ran. Total beast and still can go 8+minutes a tank.

For the price payed GO engines give you very high quality. The new GX models are very good. A 3 or 5 port would be a good choice for a truggy.

What ABEC rating are the bearings in the Go's? The new Nova 5PXL is going to be a tough badass engine, it's a long stroke .21 for good torque. Novas come with ABEC 5 ratings usually which is very good. Bearings determine engine life and performance.

thank Snrogg... But u i would like to tell you that i have bought a BUGGy and not TRUGGY....

initially I was also very keen on buying the NOVA but as I am a novice with racing engine and this will be m first racing engine.

Actually was thinking of buying this engine as I am getting this at a very good price.

Do do you suggest that I should buy a 0.21 size or 0.25+ size engine and should it be 5 Port or 7 Port

Kindly help

You have PM. If it's a buggy then you need the .21 to race legally. If you have a goood deal on it, go for it. Let us know how it runs.
FYI; Nova's are easy to tune and reliable. Plenty of good .21's under 300 bucks that will last 10+gallons with proper care.
