They make some pretty cool looking kits huh? Looks awesome man.

They do... it has a few things I'd prefer done differently, for no real reason other than personal preference, but it has gone together smoothly and I'm not a competitive crawler guy anyway, so it will be more of a trail truck for me.

Transmission and portal axles mounted... cheap aluminum pivot balls, but I like them better than the stock plastic.

Front inner fenders in place, motor wires were temporary just to check function

Battery tray and electronics in place, end points on both servos set... wonder if they pay Traxxas royalties for the receiver box

Got the Lexan parts cut/trimmed and washed... have the old-school airbrushes loaded and hope to get some color on it this afternoon.

After all the exrensive masking was done, I got to shoot some paint at this thing... any perceived imperfections were intentional and done for effect.

Next, I have to drill a boat-load of holes in it to mount the interior bits and roll-cage, doors, etc.

Holes drilled, then filled. The only pre-marked (dimples) holes that did not line up were those for the gear shifts. I had to adjust them just a wee bit closer together.

I picked up the led light kit to make an order reach free shipping status... so I installed it too. Headlights and tail lights.
