Got a RC starter kit and it came with a glow plug igniter.

Its been charging for 4 hours now. How do i know it is charging?
The light on the adapter comes on and turns to a red light.
I been reading only that you should have a red glow on the igniter when its charged. Am i wrong and what should I know about this...

thanks

Just checked and its not warm at all... its been atleast 4 hours..
Its brand new out of the box! Ill let it sit till the morning i guess!
Didnt get fuel today but tomorrow is the day.. so lets hope everything will work out!
Just like my car its new out of the box.. Could someone give me a short and clear discription on how to brake in my engine. I'm going to use the heat cycle method. please keep it easy to understand cause I'm a newbie to this...
Its a .18 engine and its a 1/10 on-road car...

thank you

Get the engine temps in the 200-220 range, run it easy for 2-3 minutes, shut engine off, and put the piston to bottom dead center immediately. Let the engine cool all the way off, and do it again. A lot of times.:) 7-10 tanks of fuel. Run the engine a little harder as you move on in the process, but lay off of wide open passes for the first 4-5 tanks. The main thing is to keep the temps under 230, but above 190.

so I started my onroad for the first time today... glow plug is charged and working. Put gas in the car and started right again! Now its shutting of after 20-30 sec and no gas in the fuel line... Plus if i keep the car on its side (exhaust down) fuel comes out of the exhaust! when i start the car it starts running almost full speed, so I'm trying to figure out how to keep it idle by changed the 2 screw but it doesn't seem to work to great unless i use the idle throttle on the remote... anymore suggestions on this..

Now my biggest scare is the clutch bell is smoking and the metal is turn blue color... whats with that??????????????
Please help....................

looks like my spur gear is broken.. all the teeth are grinded off.. now what am i going to do!!!!!!!
what could of caused this????????
