RC Driving Style
New plug type said Hot, two tanks fuel playing hard (broke a shock) pulled plug to A R O it and center whas white and outer body of plug was dark brown. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong, if any thing I'm a bit rich on fuel HS adjustment.3.3 traxas Revo Thanks ahead of time

Thought it may be cause I went to the hot plug, it was running good but Ill give it a bit more fuel an see Thanks
 
This whole thing is strange cause the plug is the only thing I changed. Did like you said and have no leaks, was raining so could not run it. But give it a 1/8 th turn ritch. Just have to wait till ground dries a bit more the try.

+1 ^^^its lean or you have air leak for sure. Could be as simple as an exhaust boot not snug enough or loose header bolt. Mine was running lean and I thought the tune was great but kept burning plugs. It was caused by my tank cap seal leaking and causing engine to run lean under rpm.
 
under what condition was the engine shut down? was it hot, and run out of fuel? It maybe normal.
 
All the above ran out of fuel and was hot. Gotta be it. But rite know I'm headed for the lake, got a problem at the cabin. May run it tomorrow if weather holds.
 
Well It is not white no more. Put HS setting back. fuel her up fired and after ARO oil was cleared hammered it for 3/4 tank. plug was turning back (kinda off white color) filled tank and ran it hard back an forth across the yard (100 yds each way) till coud barely see fuel when it went by. Sut it down got a bit darker. My guess is probably when it ran out of fuel was main but also turned it 1/8 rich. still pulls hard and plug is normal. engine still has plenty compression so i didn't hurt it.Thanks for all suggestions.
