Hey all, id thought id flooded my engine yesterday, so i took the plug out to get rid of the fuel, and noticed the TIP of the coil element that comes out of the plug, is black:whhooo:.. Why is this????:\

You are probably running too rich. WD-40 it clear and check that your plug is still working with your glow starter. Put the plug back in and run the car for a few minutes, then pinch the fuel line to kill the engine. Take out the plug & if it's still black you are too rich and need to lean out your needles.
 
Ah thanks guys. I was a bit worried cause i was thinking, wait a minute, i know too rich or too lean can foul your plug. I thought Oh crud! Its a relief to hear its only rich, not real fantastic but better than running lean. Thanks for the help!! This is a great forum!!
PS.Be prepared for a lot of questions like this as i dont know a lot about rc and will probably have these little freak outs from time to time hahaha :D:D

Great site. Favorite part- This will not always happen, if the coils wire stays inside the engine it will destory many internal components.
