HEyy Guyss ,I run a .28 size engine its made by sh ,I'm running O'Donnels 30% nitro and i keep blowing plugs every time i bash whats up with it?????!!!>?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!

what brand of glow plugs are you using?
is it a hot, medium, or cold type glow plug?

the bigger the engine and the higher % nitro means using a colder glow plug would work best, but too cold of a glow plug will cause you to lose power.

I recommend using the same brand and type of glow plug that came with your engine. SH engines come stock with the SH-#4 Medium Temp glow plug. can't find them, heres a very reliable websight that specializes in SH, and XTM Racing. www.hobbypeople.net I buy all my engines and glow plugs from them, something I ordered didnt have every peice in the bag it was sealed in, they sent me a brand new set and told me to keep the set that already came in.

Also make sure your engine is tuned correctly.

I hope this helps

Tuning issue or the connecting rod and or the bearings are worn out. If it has more than two gallons on it, it's time for bearings. SH engines are notorious for chewing up the rods.

Could also be that it's not properly shimmed for your fuel.

Many lower end/mid-level engines (<$200) are shimmed to run with 20% fuel. Running 30% in them may cause too much compression which will cause detonation and blown plugs.

You can add shims or drop down to 20% and see how it does.
