I have a NovaRossi on my MTX-3. The weird thing is when I take out the glow it works perfectly on the starter box (No stalls or anything). But when the glow plug is in, it tends to stall. Any help?

I'm guessing you mean the glow heater? If you take the heater off it stalls?

Either it's a bit rich, it's cold outside and the engine needs to warm up a bit or the plug is dieing.

Are you talking about the starter box stalling?
It will spin the engine without a glow plug, meaning it's not pushing against any compression.
If it's the starter stalling, you either have weak batts, weak motors or you're not letting the wheel get up to speed before engaging it to your flywheel.
You're probably also starting at the beginning of the compression stroke. Back the flywheel off to the end of the down stroke so it can get a running start.

No, I took out the glow plug so I can see the engine spin. It went smoothly, but with the glow plug, something stalls it, makes it hard to turn.

I take it your engine is new or near new OR like Rolex said you are not letting the starterbox get up to speed or the Starterbox is not capable. If it is new then you are dealing with excessive compression. This can be alleviated with the use of a hair dryer to the cooling head till it gets a little more than warm. Once this is done immediately try to start it... with the glow plug on of course and with the ignitor. LOL..

One trick I've noticed on some of my ragged used engines is they get "hydrolocked" or should that be "nitrolocked" from too much fuel in the cylinder so if I leave the plug in but loose it will crank up and then I can tighten the plug down and restart it without any issues

I'll try this. Thanks :D.

If you back the GP out 1/4 turn, then try, what does it do? Does it still lock up?

I've loosened the GP 1/4 turn to get engines running, then I tighten it back up once it's running. This releases some of the compression and makes it easier to turn over.
