Ok so recently my revo has been eating plugs. i just checked my needles and the high speed one is 4 and a 1/4 turns out and i think that is why it has been blowing plugs. but recently i pulled one out and the coil from inside was gone!? so its obviously in my engine so what should i do? will it be fine? pull the head off and check? ???????

it probably disintegrated, but you should check to make sure. if your popping coils it sounds like your compression is to high. have you taken the head off before? did you put the shims back in?

Well, it's a bit of a pain, but I'd pull it apart if a coil is gone. It more than likely went into or out of the exhaust, but if not, there's no point in leaving it in the engine to bang around and scratch stuff up more than it already has.

Also take the pipe off and flush it out with hot water to keep it from back blowing into the engine.

What do the coils look like usually when they blow? Distorted? Crushed up into the plug?

well she blew another plug today, didnt eat the coil tho. and olds they look, well, GONE! my carb settings are 4 n a half tuns out on the high speed and it runs fairly good but blows the odd plug. whenever i try and lean it out it bogs and cuts out on the top end. WTF! I'm ready to ditch this POS and run my jato that runs perfect EVERYTIME! FUC*

it did eat the coil, he put another plug in it after that one and it just blew the plug and didn't eat the coil.

k so i put a new plug in (hotter one). i realized i havent been changing the copper washers when i change the plug and also that my slipper clutch wasn't tight at all. i tighten it and put in a new washer and she hasnt fouled with the 10 minutes i ran it. BUT i got a ?, my battery for my servos dies in like an hour? is that normal that it doesn't last that long?:\

ok well it rained out and i was bored so i went and started it up in my shop and drove it around a bit in there and it fouled a plug. and also the last plug it fouled it pushed the coil into the plug. what could be the problem!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?! i can't seem to get a damn answer out of anyone what would be wrong. this thing is really pissin me off lol

Sounds like you have too much compression, which is usually an indication that your missing head shims completely or not enough of them. Or, your running too high of a nitro content for your head shim amount.

ok so i pulled the head off to look at the shims. still there but there was like smushed up metal on the piston and head. not enough for the glow plug coil so i take a look at the skirt and half was gone, so that smushed up metal getting on the glow plug kept blowing them! new piston/sleee on order and were gonna be rocin again!
