Hi every one I brought a glow ignitor and charger less then a week ago
And all of a sudden it stopped working
I went to drive my car yesterday it started once an won't start again. I've put the ignitor on a spare glow plug I have an it didn't glow so I thought it was dead...
But no it can't be..
I put it on charge all night and still nothing
Can any one tell me wat it could be from..
P.s the red light on my charger dont come on either

Is it the Duratrax igniter? I'd the red light doesn't come on, it probably isn't charging.

No its not a duratrax charger.
Its just got ac adaptor written on it
I got it from toy world
Its one of those green ones I'll show a picture of it soon

The charger for my Duratrax igniter just says AC adapter as well.
Oh...OK
Thanks for helping me.

Can you take a clear pic of the igniter itself?
Some of the ones that you take apart ,lose contact from the tube that connects to glo=plug.
Some of them do come apart like the metered ones ,they lose contact from the meter to the
battery.

How old is the igniter?
I'm not familure with that one ,so I don't know if that tube comes apart.
Mine come apart ,an I have to clean them every now & then.
Does the red light come on the charger like what was asked ,that should also
tell you if theres a bad conection.

Make sure you have power at the outlet where you are plugging it in. Sometimes they are on a switch that mysteriously get turned off. Plug something else in and make sure there is power. Use the process of elimination. Check it on a brand new glow plug also. I had one glow plug burn out immediately and thought my igniter was bad. If you have a meter it would be great because you can check the output voltage of the charger. Then you can check the voltage of the igniter. That should narrow it down a little. Good luck.
