Hello
I recently converted my tmaxx w/ the Jt racing Havoc stage 3 kit. I installed my tower hobby am radio and other electronics on it. Anytime you touch a bolt on the chassis w/ something metal it goes out of control. It also does it going done the track. I ve tried changing servos and even the reciever. I dont know what else to do  I'm about fed up with it :censored: any input would be helpful Thanks

try wrapping the Spring for your header w/ a fuel tube....there's a certain size that is larger int. diameter...I think it's for airplanes....any time you have metal to metal contact you get signal interference.....AM radios are the most prone to interference......but if you can find ANY metal to metal parts that rub or vibrate against each other you need to coat that part w/ something until you can get an FM radio

make sure the reciver isnt rattleing, and their are not metal to metal contacts, when metal is vibrating against metal it will cause glitching, I wraped my RX in servo tape so it was cusioned. it worked.

also a failsafe is a must.

No.... I've tried changing the tower reciever to a jr reciever and ended up with the same results....iunno

Metal sliding against metal as mentioned above is usually the cause. Are you using and springs on your linkage? If to remove the springs and replace them with fuel tubing. As a second thought also make sure your antenna on toy transmitter is screwed all the way in.
