Entry (kind of starting to sound like journal entries lol)

Yes, you just need to write something on the post and I think it should work.
Ok, I thought Woodie meant I needed to post something, like with a subject, so he just meant any reply?

I was gonna say that I'll give you the stand if I win, but then I realized that if I win, I'll need the stand for my new SCX24! If I do win, I could trade the stand to you for something else
Sure lol how about 14 burnt up motors for spares for the axial scx24

I can offer up the STL files for anyone that wants to print one, or have a friend print one. I can't print any for folks. Shipping is a pain for me because I only have 1 person that can take stuff to the P.O. for me, and I rarely see her anymore, or she is busy. Just PM me if ya want one or 3, and what you want it (them) to say.

Not to de-rail the thread again, but welcome in bubblebike! I ride bikes too, specifically MTBs (Mountain bikes). There are a couple of other members on here that like bikes too
Thanks! I'm more of a cargobike guy currently. lol I'm looking forward to digging into some newbie threads to figure this stuff out. Maybe some members will want to use their "one entry post per day" to offer up suggestions/tips for newbies like me. ;-) I'm currently thinking of starting with a SCX24 but I'm also curious if y'all think a different scale is better to start with?

You might want to start a new thread for this, as we want to try to keep all this stuff out of the giveaway! Yes, check out those bigginer threads, I've posted/replied some newbie-orientated stuff too. 1/10th scale and 1/24 are the most popular crawler sizes, get 1/10 scale for realism, capability, ease of use, and ubsurd aftermarket support, if money, and size isn't an issue. Get a 1/24 scale for compactness, cheapness, transporability, value, and if you (like me) like miniature, functional stuff, granted 1/24 scale stuff will not be as fast or capable as their much bigger 1/10 scale brothers. Check this video out from Seth at Berm Peak and Berm Peak Express on YT (normally an MTB guy, but he also likes his crawlers) on this exact subject:
Thanks for the info/tips! I appreciate it. No worries--I'm not going to try to get all my newbie info from a contest thread. I just thought it might be interesting/entertaining to watch a thread where each person posts max once per day; and I thought that maybe people posting daily tips might be more interesting than a bunch of posts that just say something like "here's my entry for today" (no offense intended to people who do that!).

(btw, this is my Supporting Member entry for today ;-)
