Girlfriends Arrma Typhon 1/8 colors

Hey all,

This is my girlfriend's first buggy and she wanted to run hot pink/pink dish wheels on her buggy.

My question is what else would be something simple we could buy that can be pink to change to pink to help match the wheels?

What and where would you put the color accents if this was your buggy with the pink dish wheels?

You know, I'm not sure why I did not think about that and yes, I work at a body shop. That's one thing I'm not the best at is body paint like this just yet. I haven't been in the hobby long enough to have the imagination built up

That is a cool idea, I'm going to show her and see what she thinks. I've never seen led lights on buggy's before

Bodies are cheap. So simple, get a clear body and some hot pink paint and paint it a solid color. Get some decals of your likeing... like some RCTalk decals to add to the body and break it up a bit.

I thought I'd mention, the Yokomo wheels you have picked out won't fit your Typhon.

I always recommend teambluegroove.com to ppl looking for bodies.
With some simple measurents, you could find a body to put on the Typhon that could change it up a LOT.
Mounting a different body can be challenging but its a lot of fun too.

There are lots of youtube vids on painting and trimming lexan rc bodies. You should watvh a few to get an idea of how it works.
Its not really hard to do but its a bit different than painting a Chevy too.

You could do a pink fade to white and it would be pretty easy to do.

Paint dark colors 1st.

Just like @WoodiE said, keep it simple and have fun. Stickers cover up a lot of mistakes AND they make you go faster too!
Practice on old soda bottles until you feel good about doing the paint job.
