Uh... what's up with your exhaust header? What turnbuckles are you using in the upper RPM arms? I went with lunsford because I busted 3 of the 4 RPM supplied ones within 2 tanks of fuel. Haven't had a single issue since I installed lunsfords.

Kind of surprised no-one has harped on you about your air filter choice.

Glad to see another aftershock abuser though!

They are known to let more than just air in. I personally am not partial to them unless I had a shelf queen...

so I should put the stock one back in? really?
K&N good enough for cars but not RC?

P.S. Where is the photo's everyone, post, post, post!!!!

i run the motor saver filter..the k&n style filter lets alot of dirt get into the carb and will ruin an engine

think of it as a scale problem on airfilters. dust can go through a car engine with little effect on it, but look at the size of the engine! to an RC engine, that "dust" is now about the size of pea gravel. Pea gravel is not good for a 1:1 engine, so dust isnt good for a nitro. put the stock back on or change to a motor saver.

I use Motorsavers Air filters. Or any 1/8th scale filter from a buggy will be good enough. Since I run on pretty unmaintained terrain, I run a dry prefilter. Its the foam sleeve that slides over the actual air filter.

Also, the RPM's of a 1:1 engine are much less and they are constantly bathed in oil. A spec of dust at 3000 RPM's has much less impact than a spec at 25,000 RPM's.

Didn't know we were supposed to post pics... thought this was your pic thread!

I use whatever I have handy, but typically OS filters because I have 3 or 4 assemblies laying around.
