getting out of the hobby...

welli have decided to leave the hobby...its been fun..but I think I am gonna move onto racing dirt track...most ppl prolly don't know me..I am new to this board...but ya'll have fun...

I say sideline the Savage for now. Sometimes it is months till I get the rides running due to time and weather. Up to you. Regardless I hope to see you back on the forum again.

Yeah I was thinking of leaving too. A couple friends invited to start racing MX at the local track and the weather is starting to get livable again..........well minus today of course.

Awe, clean up your ride, flush the engine with carb cleaner & pour some Marvel Mystery Oil in the block, remove the batteries from your radio and discharge your Nicd packs/ charge NiMh packs. Store everything until you get the RC bug again. See back in 4 months :LoL:

he doesn't have an engine or radio on his savage... its a brand new ss kit... so no wear or mess to clean up.

i can attest to this one once your in there is no real leaving this hobby maybe lil breaks now and again but never out of your blood since I've been back I've had more great times then bad ones, didnt help that my first buggy and i didnt get along now I've got a reliable buggy and a boat its only up from here :w00t:

I f you spend it well you won't need to in the future. For instance, you can get a synth radio and Receiver so in the future if/when you get another ride all you need is another synth or an FM receiver. The motoer sometimes can go in the next rie. Like my S-25 and Picco26 can go in my buggy or savage with few minors changes.
