getting ca glue off tire walls

hi all,

i'm sure some of you guys have ran into this problem. I over glued my tires and on the first run the excess glue was drawn out and now there is glue on the tire sidewalls, is there anything that works to take this glue off but won't jeopardize the tire rubber?

i used a little bit of nitro fuel on a cotton ball and it seemed to work out ok for me

100% Acetone works. Dissolves the glue with a bit of time and doesn't seem to harm the rubber. It may take the chrome off the rim though.
