Getting back in..... Sorta

As you know, i sold off everything i had a month or so ago. I wasn't planning to really ever get anything else but today that changed.

My bro in law (same one that gave me a wii) decided that he no longer wanted his TT01. Its in like new condition with maybe 5 runs on it. I recommended it to him last year so he bought the Ferrari one, a 6 cell maxamps 4700 and i gave him my novak ionic charger.

I was at his house today and saw it in a box so i asked about it and found out it was on its way to good will. I scooped it up and so now i have a rtr TT01.


I realize its not an a TC5 or anything but i believe the tt01 is a solid little platform and i plan to put a few goodies on it but not much.



I don't want to make it a beast that will be tearing up tires and drivelines but i want it to be able to run around 35-40mph.
I figure something like a mamba max/velineon motor combo would be perfect.

I still can't decide if i want to run lipo on it. I figure if i can get decent runtime from some quality nimh packs then there is no reason to change.


staying with a stock controller. no need for another dx3r for one rc lol.



this is going to be a car to just blast on the pavement now and then.
