Shocks are crying… should i rebuild the OEM ones or should i get some aftermarket ones and start over? I would most likely switch to the element shocks. Had desert lizards on my scx10.2 and they weren't for me. What do you guys think?

Doom, i just ordered them… I'm honestly amazed at the butt whippin I've thrown on my gatekeeper without replacing anything other than a smoked reciever and ESC. can't wait to put them on and tune them!

A lot of folks buy the Desert Lizards for looks. I've also heard several people say don't bother. I've never tried them myself. But my Element shocks have never done me wrong.

Basically the light springs are too light, medium rate is too stiff unless you have a whole bunch of sprung weight, different weight oils didnt make it better or worse. I tried them on an scx10.2 and on the kiddos enduro se… in my opinion the kyx amazon shocks are more funtional. Quality of the lizards parts were really good. Just wasn't what i was looking for. On a leaf sprung rig, no springs and 20 weight they are perfect.
