gear problems

i have a tmaxx with a os18 and i just put a new metal spur gear in it and it not shifting into second or it stuck in second can someone please help:whhooo:

that would mean you might need to retune anytime mine doesn't shift I pull out the tuning chart in the nitro section and after a couple tries they start shifting again. I do have one question though.. you put a steel spur on, is any of the other gears been converted to steel?? if not you might end up replacing a few gears in that tranny soon...

Or, your slipper is slipping. I've had that happen before. When the trans tries to shift, it's a taller gear which causes the slipper to slip a lot vs transferring the power to the tires.

i do have all steel gears ill have to try it i might have to ask some more questions cause I'm new with the rc nitro cars but thanks guys
