my maxx is ready to go but I'm having trouble with the gear mesh between my spur and clutch bell. I'm running the xtm conversion with the 24/7 engine and a 70 tooth kimboroh spur gear. it seems as if the engine doesn't have the room to slide all the way to mesh right. as if the whole for the screws on the chassis are not long enough to alow it to go as far as i neeed to. my clutch bell is also a bit worn. shoudl i just get a 24 tooth clutch bell since the car can afford too be geared higher? thanks

You could do that...

OR

You could lengthen the holes on the chassis with a little dremmel tool work. If you had a drill press, you could probably use that to lengthen the holes a bit.

yup hit the mount holes with a dremel and also do your spur and CB gear pitches match???

:hammer:

get to work with that dremmel. Dremmels, is their any thing they can't do? Hey did it work?

No problem. Just trying to let someone know what not to do, and make an example at the same time.
