Gauge Clusters

I do custom LEDs for almost anything. This is my nephews gauge cluster from his 2000 Honda Accord. I'm still working on it. The needles were red so I took that off and put LEDs underneath each one. And then more for the background numbers. They can be changed individually to any color with patterns all from an app on your phone. Even does music reactive effects. Pretty awesome. These pics are ok, but you should see a video with the lights in motion. Actually you should see my Tahoe gauges...

The red in the first pic really makes me want to drop a gear and disappear.

The big question on everyone's mind is, can you do this in 1:10 scale?

As soon as I opened this thread and looked at the gauge in automatically knew it was a 90s or 00s Honda. Looking clean.

Cool. I have the mycolor cluster in my 2008 mustang but it’s only for the cluster. I would love to be able to change the rest of the led colors from the factory green. Do tell.

There's so much going on inside these things... they're very dynamic. I wasn't exactly trying to reveal how I do what I do, just wanted to show em off a little. A drab boring old gauge cluster CAN be brought to life. But like a party life lol

You should take away the needle so they can't tweak.

I know it's not a new digital dash or anything, but if you search 2000 Honda Accord gauge cluster stuff, you'll find almost NOTHING! Especially compared to Civics and other stuff. And also keep in mind that I didn't change any factory parts out. All original parts, just some modded a bit (made the red needles white so they can change to any color, removed blue paint on backside of overlay so light will shine thru pure white and not aqua, etc.) As far as parts that cost money, the LEDs and controller, I spent about $30 total.

Oh ok right on. You got that mechanical mileage counter. The only cluster I've ever messed with that had that was my '01 Saturn SC2 (did a indiglo gauge face overlay). My '05 Tahoe is digital mileage
