(sorry, nitro question)hey guys , is it ok to go from one name brand to another and then go back to the initial one with all the same nitro content, my lhs is out of the one i get usually so i would have to go with another name brand

being that it is the same nitro% it should be just fine but you may want some one else to comment on this subject.

cool i 'll wait around for more comments, just to make sure

There really shouldn't be a huge problem. Another factor, though is oil content. If they're both similar in nitro % and oil % then switching will be easy. If the oil content is different, then you'll just have to tune it a bit different, that's all.

Yea, you should be ok. Even if it is same oil/nitro %, no 2 brands are the same. Well, even every 2 jugs are not the same! So you will have to retune a little.

what if i were to go from 25 to 20 % nitro, finally my other lhs doesn't have any in stock , crap

i think the rule i you can go up in nitro content and re-breakin but you can't go down. once again get more opinions.

I've got one buddy that switches back and forth between 20% and 30% and swears he doesn't have any problem. I haven't noticed anything wrong with it but he doesn't run as much I do. I dropped from 20% to 16% with no problem, so 5% shouldn't be a problem. You will just have to retune but don't forget it might include going to a different glow plug, maybe not depending on what you are running and how you tune.
