what would make my engine cut out at high rpms and make it hard to drive. I think its hard to drive due to loss of power.

Well, it's too lean, too rich, bad fuel, air leak or worn out engine.
What are your temps? Do you have any visible smoke coming out of the exhaust at WOT (wide open throttle)?

surely the engine isn't wore out just bought in summer 08,its got good smoke on take off and can't tell much about it when it does it seeing that is a hundred yards away and the temps are normal.
Is it always 100 yards out when it cuts out? Or does it cut out when it's close to you at WOT?
If it's close to you and does it, try richening the high speed needle 1/8th of a turn.
