hey--

my xtm x-c is great and all but it gobbles up gas like a billy goat!

but in all seriousness its all ready leaned out to the max.... how can i make my x-c not like gas so much?

thanx---

Put in an OS .15 cv-r. I get 10-13 minutes run time with this on my losi xxx-nt.

I don't know if there is a way to make it consume less. Maybe a carb restrictor. But you will sacrifice power and top speed.

How far broken in is your X-C?
I ran about hrmm 1/2 gallon maybe more through it. I got like 3 - 5 minutes of run time during break in. The I leaned it up a bit, and got maybe 7 minutes.

Well.. oddly enough the last time I took it out I had to retune it, I think it was a little colder out than normal anyhow I ended up getting a LOT more run time out of it.

It was weird. It was gobbling like a sun of a gun. Next time out. It lasts forever. tank after tank after tank a quart lasted about 2.5 hours of hard running. It wasn't getting hot, and had enough lube.

That's why I ask how much time you have on the motor. If it's tuned right, and broken it it should last quite a while.

BTW how do you like your X-C? I'm loving mine, after I got the hang of what it needs to handle, Fast as all get out, and handles like a dream ;)

yea all together i would have to say i ran about...mabey 12 tanks of gas through it,

yea i love mine 2, it handles nice but its snowy/and slushy hear so i can't go fast or i will lose control...(stupid ice) well i gess i realy have to wait untill it gets warmer to see the real muscle of the x-c but it runs ok in the snow!

:]
