My car;

1992 Olds Achieva (two door)
tinted rear-three windows with 5% "Limo Blackout" tint
1600 watt subwoofer system (1600 watt pyle eternal amp, 2 400 watt and 2 500 watt pioneer 10" subs in a ported box... rated DB unknown, but at 4 out of 28, the car rattles noticibly. 10, and the neighbors down the road hear it, all without distortion), powered by an Alpine CDA-9811 mp3 radio, looking into iPod and KCA-420i adapter).
radar/laser ("lydar", as it's called) detector with compass and traffic/emergency condition alert
air horn rated at 125db

I'm sure I'm forgetting something. At any rate, even tho it's an Olds, I bet the cops would home in on it faster than a 1/2 off donut sale.

Anywho, I'm sure that somehow some way, what they did re; your radar detector is wrong. Just plain wrong. Have you tried calling an attorney that specializes in traffic disputes?

Nah, Thatd be more hassle than it would be worth for me. Granted I was out the detector I paid over $300 for, but I can almost gurantee that it would get dismissed before I even stepped in the courtroom.
 
Wow man. I drive an old Chevy Caprice that is ILLEGAL as hell. 30% tinting all the way around, including the entire windshield. (screw that damn "ASI line" BS) I am pushing three Rockford Fosagte Stage 2 Punch speakers, it's still go the rims from the previous owner- 20 Inch 120 Spoke chrome rims with the locking spinners on them, an amazingly loud horn, plus the two hors that were hooked up to my alarm, but now just kind of blare randomly when I turn the wheel to far one way... The steering wheel is some kind of woodgrain crap that the last guy put in it, witch I found out was illegal in Texas recently.

My wife and I got pulled over ou US. 59 on the way up to Dallas, Texas. She was doing 95 in a 70, no insurance, no registration, and at the time it was still in the other owners name. Didn't even get a warning. I guess cops are just really asshat-ish in you state.


Hmmmm... now I can't help but wonder if I could get away with a radar thingie. I usually just slam on the brakes every time I see a copper. They really arent that hard to pick out of a crowd, ya know?
 
Holy cow 120 spoke 20's?? I didnt even know they made them with that less of spokes. I had 14 inch Daytons Knockoffs on my S-10 (Like in 1995) and they were 100 spokes and I thought there wasn't enough spokes. I couldnt imagine them spread out in a 20. I had 5% tint on my back window on my truck i got now and 10% on the sides, and that blew ass at night. I ended up getting pulled over, getting a $190 ticket and had to peel the tint off right there at the spot. I had a buddy who had a 59 Belair that had a chain link steering wheel (Cheech and chong style bitch..lol) and he got in a pretty bad accident and busted his sternum on that wheel. (and yeah, them are illegal here in mn too (But again they havent been cool in like 15 years either..lol))
 
How dare you speak so boldly of the Chain Link Steering Wheel? That was a mainstay of the 70's man, I think Blake even has one in his car. But seriously, I dunno about the 120 spoke part, but Beason and bustedgears have seen them, they are HUGE. Either way the thing is illegal. I went to go it inspected and they guy was asking me to palm him a c-note just for the trouble.

And tweak I'm sorry about the chain link steering wheels being cool 15 years ago. I appologize. It was 25 years ago that they were cool.. ;)
 
That's right, 4u! I know, I know...I shouldn't brag so boldly about my wheels, but I just can't help it! I mean, it is such a bitchin' Tahoe!

Oh, almost forgot! It also sports an original, ORIGINAL, battery acid burn in the cargo area when the battery our of my Kawaski tipped over! Yeah, the chicks dig it!
