I am looking for midpriced dig servos, like the s9350/s9451. I love the Airtronics 94358, but they are pricey and non-digital. Does digital provide an advantage that gets at least equal performance for less cost?

Digital has trade offs scottm, you need a bigger capcity battery do to the fact the suck down more juice. The plus is the update of "refresh" rate the the RX send signals to the servo's is much quicker! Digitals seem to be more precise in my experience, I would alike it to a laser site on a gun as opposed to the old cross hairs. They are more expensive but I try to rock all digi's when i can afford it. I guess it really used to be a battery issue but today with huge runtime capacity in batteries it's kind of a non issue imo. I am having great luck with my pair of s9451's from Futaba. I would say the compare nicely to my gold JR digis that cost way more.

I have both on my buggy using a 3PK in High Response mode, i like them very much, they are fast and strong. Sitting on plush carpet my wheels turn like i was holding the buggy off the ground.
