I got my fusion like 2 weeks go and the stock tires are NO GOOD at all (comes with no foams inside the tire) and today i was planing on getting some foams to put on it but I'm not really sure what kind to get. I usally drive on like sealed blacktop its pretty smooth almost slick at times (thin layer of dust/dirtl makes me slide easy) and whas wondering what shore of foams to get to have maximum grip so I'm not all over the place.(as long as they dont wear out in like 2 tanks) Also what else could i adjust on the car to get more grip? thx

40 (26mm) shore front, 37 (30mm) rear but you must make sure the rears have a 2mm offset or else you are stuck with 26 mm all around.

i don't know whether your car is pushing or loose while turning. you can play with the shock settings as well. purchasing the xxx main tuning guide will help plenty with tuning your suspension. tuning the suspension is all dependent on your driving style on the track.

As my brother said, yes he really is my brother, make sure the 30mm rears you get have a 2mm offset so that you can clear the hub carriers. Other than that, the car is pretty much set up well for the everyday basher but if you ever get it on a track, you will have to reset the camber and toe adjustments as well as get the threaded shockbodies.

Those stock rubber slicks are garbage. That's why I never even put CA on them to mount. I just stuck on some foams. 40 shore fronts, 37 rears should be fine for most lots.

 Hey Diver it seems another member agrees I will chip in for your new car :2cents:

Sounds good to me. Tell ya what, gimme your mugen x12. I'm getting my serpent on thursday so I'll consider that "chipping in." My brother is getting his on Monday. You wanna chip in for him too?

As I said, the fusion is strictly for the park. The Serpent will strictly be for racing (won't see the park) and the NTC3 will be a backup racer/basher. THe wife can keep the FW-04. It keeps her busy and it's slow enough so she won't get into too much trouble.

30mm tire problems

Another solution to your problem would be to buy some fusion r-12 rear hub carriers that are designed to accept the regular 30mm tires. Schumacher style number u-2581.
