hi peeps just purchased a Trx 6 and want to put the Hobbykimg Fusion Quickrun ..1800 3 in 1 motor into it..am i right assuming this motor will be more than adequate for crawling the Trx 6

hope the brakes have improved over the years back when i tested motor/esc in1 brakes were bad to non existent

I had a quicrun Fusion in my TRX6, it worked decent, but got hot fast. The motor is a touch underpowered, but what kills it is the super wimpy BEC, so watch out for overheats.

thanks for that.. did it get hot just crawling. coz wi my trx4 I rarely use 2nd gear

Even the non-fusion 550 can combo gets uncomfortably hot in a TRX4 in 2nd gear. So... Stick to 1st gear :)

I have the Fusion 1800kv in my Redcat Gen8V2 and I think it is awesome! More brakes than any 1/10 would ever need. Smooth, powerful, and it can truly crawl.....in millimeter increments!

minmin.i think I'm gonna have t fit it.. my trx4 with it is awesome
For the 6x6, it should be just fine for crawling. I don't know how much heat buildup there'll be when running in full throttle for prolong periods, though.
My Fusion is merely warm to the touch, even after a couple of hours of walking through the woods.
