I was out bashing the E Maxx at the end of my street where they are doing some construction and some how I destroyed my rear Proline 23mm hex adapters, I sheered off both of the little spring steel axle pins and chewed up the spot on the inside of the where the pin sits, and the outside where the nut tightens down, I guess once the pin sheered off it just started spinning axle inside the adapter, then the right rear wheel came adapter and all, the little black piece between the adapters is whats left of one of the pins, check out the pics below...

Were they on properly? Were they loose? Those lil buggers are not cheap. At least the rest of it is ready to go.
 
They were tight but came loose while I was out bashing it around and I didn't realize it until the right rear wheel came off.
