Is 16% better or worse than 20%?

16 will give less power but slightly less engine wear..
20 will give slightly more power but slightly more wear.
(also 20 gives slightly cooler running)

does anyone else run 25% in their trx 2.5?

20% trinity MHP (12% lube). Been pretty much using just this for 5 years. Tried a few others over that time as well, but the trinity seems to be most consistant for what I do, bash.

20% trinity MHP, same as olds. I started out with o'donnels, and about the only thing I liked about it was the smell. Then I switched to Blue Thunder for a while, and didn't like it all that much. It made my CV.12 really hard to tune. I switched to Trinity after that, and have been using it ever-since.

20% Trinity MHP but think I am going to run 30% this year now that I have a different mill for the bug and I'm most likely going to mod my TM. Oh yeah, and stick something nice into the LSP whenever it arrives.

I'm also running Trinity MHP 20%, like Olds I have used otheres but I like the Trinity best. My engines seem easier to tune and hold a better tune since I started using it.

So far, I've run a quart of 20% Trinity MHP and a little more than a quart of 20% Blue Thunder, both have performed excellently.

When I ordered my buggy, I ordered a quart of trinity MHP, and went through most of it during break-in.
No LHS, so I ordered 4 more quarts, and saw after ordering that it was going to be about 9 days shipping time, so I went to the closest hobby shop (about 130 miles round trip) I made the trip because this is my first nitro rc, but they didn't carry trinity, so I bought 2 gallons of blue thunder, which I had read good things about. So, now I have a about 1-3/4 gallons of blue thunder and a gallon of trinity MHP :)

I did notice though that about half of the responses on this qustion has been 20% trinity MHP

You'll like the MHP. When I did the switchover from Blue Thunder, I had to open the master needle about 1/4 turn. Then I leaned down from there.

I run BT 20% for about 4 years then switched to Trinity MHP 20%. I have to drive about 125 miles round trip for the Trinity vs. 25 miles for the BT........yea I like it that much better........easier to tune and I think I get better performance but thats just MY opinion............

Well, sadly, I havn't had the combination of free time during daylight and decent weather to run my buggy enough after breakin to determine whether I like BT or Trinity MHP better, but I have enough of each fuel now to try to find out when opportunity allows. I had to re-tune when I went from the trinity to the BT, but I was also still at a rich setting breaking in, and the humidity and outside temp was varied ALOT!, so I expected to retune anyway from 3 major tuning factors regardless of fuel brand.
