Anyone tried Wildcat race fuel with the Klotz lube package? I'm wondering how it stacks up against the O'donnell race fuel.

I've never tried that fuel, but I can tell you that I am sold on O'donnell. My rides all run consistent, smooth and strong on the stuff, plus I like how it smells.

I bought 3 quarts of the 20/18 Eliminator Plus/Qwikfire for my break in for the S-25 when the weather permits The extra oil will help. Then I will switch to 20/14 after that.

I was once sold on O'donnell, since users had so many good things to say about it. Then I read a post where a guy replied that O'donnell is good if your plan on replacing your engine frequently. So that comment and the fact I couldn't find technical information on O'donnell's, I decided not to use it.

Back to Wildcat, I don't believe anyone here uses it. Their website has tons of info and uses Klotz for enhanced protection and cleaner burning. Plus they manufacture fuels for HPI and Trinity. So basically if you use those, you are using Wildcat...but I guess you really have to take a chance use what you think is best for you and your expensive RC!!!!

HPI power fuel is the best fuel I have ever used, bar NONE, and I have used almost every fuel available at one time or another.

It burns cleaner, runs cooler, and lubriactes much better IMO.

O'Donnel RTR blend is descent, but IMO it still runs hotter, and requires a richer needle settings that most other fuels.

Sidewinder is ok, but its a little low on oil for my taste. I like running 14% oil content, and 20% Nitro.

After running a few tanks of the Wildcat fuel I agree it runs a little cooler. The real reason I picked it up was because of the Klotz lube package. Its real big with the outboard racers....not R/C but big boats. I have seen 2.5 ltr. V6's turn over 10k thru the quarter mile for more than one season on the stuff.
