Provide that I have the room for it, Would any tank work?? Or does it have to be by make and model??

What RC? What are you trying to accomplish?

It is always recommended that you stick with the same type of fuel tank that came with the RC.

Smartech Winner Pro. My gas tank shattered as it went slidding into a curb. Besides the stock tank was small. Another ? Would or does your LHS tune cars for you? Or is that a do it yourself job?

With some creative thinking and a Dremel you can probably mount a larger tank in the RC if you wish.

Yes I am sure my LHS would tune the engine if I paid them. It is something that I do my self. Tuning an engine can be a daunting task. It just takes time and practice.

Everyone talks about adjusting the low and high. Now I know the engine from smartech is not the best but it also has a rpm screw that can be adjusted. Is this common on all or am I the lucky one?

I believe you are talking about the Idle Speed Screw or the ISS. Most carbs out have 3 needles. A LSN, HSN and ISS. Some carbs only have 2 needles. A HSN and ISS. There are also some carbs that have a mid range needle but those are never to be messed with.

So you are saying that I should take it down to my LHS for tuning?

If you need help sure. But I would suggest learning how to tune your own engine. There is no perfect tune. You will always have to make minor adjustments down the road. If your LHS is like mine they will bend over backwards to help you get your feet wet.

My LHS is HobbytownUSA and I get rc related things from them, I definately take their advise and put it in the cicrular file.

That sucks. Mine is some mom and pop shop. I only wish they would get on the ball and start stocking parts for the Savage. :(

Hey guys the link for the tune my engine is no working in the newbie section. Can you guys tell where I can find a detailed step by step on tuning engines?

my looks exactly like the hpi rs4 3 If that helps. But is has a .15cx motor.

You are just too lazy to drive an hour to a real hobby shop.
