Yup, the fill plug is solidly in the case, lol. It's an overgrown set-screw. I'm thinkin an old allen wrench and a welder might be the way to go to get it out.

I dunno about burning chest hairs, but I hear FastEddy knows about arm hair and the violent reactions of flammable substances....

Lol good to hear that your feeling better Rolex. Hearbreak can you hammer in a bigger allen, if you can heat the area surrounding the fill plug.

It's on an NV231HD transfer case, the fill plug. Think of it as an over-grown set screw. I actually found, on ebay, some jumbo ez-outs for $17. I figure that's worth a shot before I introduce heat.

Worst case scenario, my dad has a buddy that's a retired machinist. I'm sure he can cook somethin up that'd work.

I'll PM you a link with a picture or two of the setscrew-plug, so I don't clutter the thread (well, clutter it worse, lol).

It should be fine. When you sell it, just make sure to tell him it's not food.

Damn, I'm still laughing till it hurts. Thanks for the slip of the finger. It made my day.

when i first got my revo we were joking about how the blue top fule looks like gatorade. so of course these kids came over and were like hey nice car and stuff and we asked if they wanted some "gatorade" and we showed them the bottle. they said yes and thats when we told them it was fule. we had a good laugh about it.
