you will need to re tune. because the fuel has more nitro in it would prosume you will be able to lean it slightly. I tend to stick with the same % throughout the engines life. My savvy was run in on 25% and i've never changed it. Even the brand. Different brands contain different oil content. Its what the engine gets used to.

its like the wife makin you a cup of coffee with 2 sugars, then the next day makin one without sugar. You ain't gonna be happy.

Richen the needle just a little bit. It's always good to look for a lower oil content while you're at it.

Ok, if it's tuned good now, then it will likely need to be richened a little. It might be a little rich now, it might be a little lean now, I don't know.

I sure as hell wouldn't lean it like in post #2.

It's always a good idea to richen it a little when adding nitro content, I can say that.

Start back at factory settings and tune for temp and performance. Never just richen or lean an engine because of a nitro % or fuel type change.

So if an engine was running fine on 10% and you switched to 30% you would just set it to factory specs and start there?

Going from 16% to 20% is not much of a jump, but as a general rule most people richen their hsn just a little bit when going to a high nitro.

Yeah me too, no hard feelings guys. I just stated what seems to be the most common advice given on the topic.
