Could i cut off any excess fuel tubing going from the tank to the carb or is it there for a reason cause there is like almost a foot of extra tubing all buched up on a clip????

you can cut it off....it adds extra run time and can keep the fuel cool before it reaches the carb...i trimmed mine down to make it neater...if you cut it, take it all from one end so you have extra line..always a good thing to have...

ya i needed to know cause i have mine all aprt cause I'm puttin the included long travel rockers and springs!! so I'm gonna do that now!!!! thanx a bunch!!!!! but y is it there in the first place???

It is there to give you extra run time when you are on the lid. If you flip upside down the tank is no longer pulling fuel....so the longer your line is....the better chance you have of getting it flipped back over before it stalls out and dies. If it is not hurting anything or relly bad in the way I would recommend leaving it there.

oh well i already cut it but one time it came oout of the little clip and got caught in my spurgear,, i needed a new fuel line but spur was fine, luckily!!! But i dont thnik it will make much of a difference... It just looks a lot neater!!!
