Fuel leak

This might be a really stupid question, but does a fuel leak out equal an air leak in? I only ask because the carb on my TRX 3.3 appears to be leaking fuel out around the throat.

if it is leaking fuel then it is more then likley sucking in air too. takr your engine apart and seal everything up should fix it.

At the carby, also I found the fuel inlet on the HSN was loose once I tightened that that's when the carby started to leak... My maxx is only 2 weeks old and it's been problem after problem. Dont get me wrong when it's running well its great
