Fuel filter for revo 3.3

would it be a benifit to install a fuel filter on my revo 3.3? and would I need to install a check valve also? I have both items just havent installed yet. I have the golden horizons fuel filter that I ordered from tower hobbies they even sent the checkvalve at no extra cost:seeing_stars:

Is it a check valve or a primer bulb? And yes, fuel filters are a good thing to use. They don't filter out everything, but what is small enough to get through those is probably not big enough to do a lot of damage.

Using a check valve will make it run really rich all the time as it won't let the pressure equalize in the fuel system.
