WTS MOD'D .21 Hyper 8-Port

Whaddup guys,

I've got a mean Mod'd Hyper 8 Port that my buddy traded me as he's now running a Mod'd Picco .26 (yeah he's power happy). I'd keep the engine myslef but I'll be running a Mod'd Wasp .26 myself in my soon to be CyberMaxx.

The engine exterior is perfect with the exception of some tiny scratches on the top of the cooling head but nothing else. The compression is excellent as the engine has had 1.25 gallons through it give or take 5 tanks. I've sold used engines to members here and if I say it's got 1.25 gallons then that's the condition. Many people seem to bullchit about used engine condition.

For power comparison we dragged raced this engine against two other Big Bore conversion Maxx's of comporable weight and exact gearing (72/20). An XTM 24.6 and a Wasp .26. Off the line the Wasp powered truck had the most grunt followed by the XTM and then the Hyper 8port. The Hyper 8 port almost flipped on it's lid on the first couple runs but after the Mod'd 8 Port hit second and it's top end power band it smoked the other two truck trucks time and time again.

I can't predict the life of this engine but I'd expect a mod'd engine to have a decreased life to some extent. I'll guarantee for a month to any regular memeber of the forum. "Regular member" being defiend as somone who contributes on @ least a weekly basis and whom is known for being able to properly tune an engine.

I'd also like to note that the engine has all new o-rings on the carb and this is a bare engine with pullstart (no clutch, CB ect).

$75.00 Shipped in the continental USA.

Thanks

Standard shaft or Pilot shaft? Has it been cut?

Who modded the engine? Some guy in his tool shed or a professional?

If I understand correctly you are including the carb as well? If so is it the stock carb?

If it is as you say please post a pic (I know a pic cannot tell you how an engine will perform but it would be nice to see one anyway) I'm interested.

Hey robriguez -

The engine was Mod'd by my little 15 year old cousin in his basement with a dremel too...apparently he didn't phuck up...lol. Seriously, the engine was Mod'd by an ace in the hole engine mod'r who's a friend of a friend. He moved his arse to Japan but he mod'd some of our engines before he moved. It's a full blown pro mod comporbable to EBmods I'm sure. The timing has been adjusted, the crank has been balanced and worked slightly ect.

I forgot to mention, this engine has an O.S. Carb and Pilot shaft.

Thanks

Engine is sold pending funds. Thanks for the intrest Robriguez and others. Robriguez - If I was your I'd get myself a nice Wasp/Picco .26.
