Just got done painting my 3rd body. This airbrushing has become addictive... I blame it all on NCNitro....lol

Sweet! How long did it take you to paint that one? Oh and what kind of rims are those?

It took about 2 days to mask & paint it all up... The rims are made by a company called CrazyNutRacing

Thanks for the compliments guys..
Thanks again Joe...

Anything from crazynutracing is top notch. Check them out if you have a chance. The best engine heat sinks in the business. After a long hard run, you could pick the car up by the head. That good.

OK, I have not touched an airbrush sense ummmmm 8th grade? I think I want to buy one now. you guys are making my wife hate me.

Damn nice paint job! Keep up the great work!

NCN inspired me too!

Just went and bought another blank shell today :)

LOL! Its NOT!

I did however pickup the Alclad chrome and a water based black to back it with. I'm going to test the chrome (brushed on) to some scrap Lexan I have and see what it does. Just in the bottle it does some funky expansion thing. Wondering about the contraction on the Lexan.

I could shoot the rest just fine. This blower has got me.

:smoke:

I did the chrome first, since it is backed with black anyway. Just mask around the opening for the blower using blue painters tape. mask around the rear bumper and sidepipes too, then mask off all the inside of the body that you don't want chrome. Shoot all the chrome at once, don't cut out the blower parts and front bumper until it is totally done and dried for like two days. Do it in several very light coats, it will look like it is not even covering, but it will really show up once it is backed. I think that alclad II is awesome!! it is very real looking chrome.
