I want to get the freewing 70mm yak130, but I only have 4s batteries, and the description of the plane says that it can run 4s on a motor (I found one that’s good for 4s) but has anyone done this before?
If so, how does it fly?? I know it’ll have less power but I’m not concerned about crazy aerobatics.
Thanks!

That's a cool looking jet, I just checked it out on account of your post.

There's some discussion on the forum that's linked from the motionRC page. To do 4S, you would fit your own EDF, something ~2800kv, while the 6S version comes with a 2100kv motor. As a result, the difference isn't as big as you think, and the 4S one might even flight "easier" due to being a little lighter.

Wow, alright that sounds good. I think I might convert to 4s as it’s only an extra 40 bucks and I wont need to buy 50 dollar batteries.
Thanks!
