Foward only conversion prob

I bought a foward only conversion about 3 or 4 months ago and I decided to install it last night while I had my Maxx apart anyway I took everything apart to install it and it wouldnt fit throught the bearing in the tranny case, the shaft is to big . My Maxx is the older .15 version can I just get the bearings from a newer T Maxx or is the outer diameter of the bearing larger also where I would have to get a new case? :shrug:

Yeah I hope so lol the shaft is the same size as the inner part of the bearing It was kind of frustrating to have it completley apart and it diddnt work.

I dont think the bearing sizes changed in the older to newer versions, so something is up.

hmm weird I even read the directions to make sure I was doing it right lol !

That is weird... I just checked the parts explosions and they use the same bearings on that shaft, 5x11's.
2.5 trans explosion (html)
.15 trans explosion (pdf)

And, the 4994x shaft the FOC is on replaces the 4994 shaft the reverse setup is on.

I think it should be 4994X: 4994X at tower Replacement Gear for 4994X at tower
